Do vegans need to take a multivitamin? Well, If you eat a varied plant-rich diet then you actually shouldn’t need a multivitamin. The majority of the nutrients and vitamins inside a vegan multivitamin are easily found in plant-based foods.
Some vegans take just the essential vegan omega-3 and B12 (but if you eat plenty of fortified foods, you may not even need the B12).
However, if you know your diet isn’t as nutritious as it should be, or you simply don’t have the time to cook well-balanced meals, then you may want to consider one of these high-quality vegan multivitamins – all tried and tested by me!
