Carrots are root vegetables that are really common in Europe, but you also get variations in Asia. They mostly come in a bright orange colour but you can also buy carrots that are red, purple, yellow, white, or even black in colour. Carrots have plenty of calcium and Vitamin K, making them a really nutritious ingredient to eat and cook with.
